ENGLISH ARTICLES

Romanian is my mother language, but sometimes, I really like to write my articles in English. It’s a different way to express myself, it might not be perfect, but somehow, there are days when I don’t feel like writing in Romanian.

Maybe because we are all surrounded by English anywhere we go. And I think is also a challenge for me to improve it, because I know I don’t speak it perfectly, but fluently yes. And why not being in contact all the time with a second language for our own development?

I hope you enjoy it:)

The view over Dubrovnik- The King's Landing
I don't think I would exaggerate if I'd say that Dubrovnik is only famous, now, because of Game of Thrones. Let me tell you why. I visited Dubrovnik this year, and man...this is one of a hell city. So damn beautiful, nothing bad to say about that. The old citadel is amazing, it feels great to walk on the small...
When you're visiting a new country, one of the questions is, of course, what should you visit first? So was the case for use when visiting Croatia. And, if one of your dilemmas is what to choose between Split and Zadar, I've got you covered. Because, this is what I'm going to talk about, in this article. If you...
Oh, I wish I could have found an useful article about the camping in Croatia before going in my two weeks trip. Although, the internet just seemed to be filled in with unnecessary information. At least for what I wanted to know. But, in this article, I will try to offer you all the information you need about the costs, the...
two weeks road trip
We planned a two weeks road trip in Croatia back in 2018, but, because of personal reasons, we had to postpone it. But we didn't give up. So, this year, it finally happened. We were on a two weeks road trip visiting three countries. We were driving 3500 km, all the way down from Bucharest-Belgrade-Zagreb- Plitviče- Zadar- Split- Dubrovnik- Montenegro-...
The Republic of North Macedonia, one of the former states of Yugoslavia, has the perfect location in the Balkan Peninsula in Southeast Europe. Perfect for a road trip. So, if you live around and you want to go for a visit, I would suggest you to go by car. We preferred this option too, leaving from Romania. Therefore, passing through...
Paris, 2015
I never wrote about visiting Paris and Notre-Dame, even if this was one of my first trips abroad and it still remains one of  my greatest travel memories. I don't know why I'm writing about this today. Maybe the recent news about Notre-Dame made me realize how lucky I was to see it before burning. And the only thing that...
Wow, time really flies and we can already say: Winter Summer is coming! I, personally, love this season. Tiny clothes, sunny days, parties, concerts, beach, anything is great about summer! And, obviously, it's my favorite time of the year to plan a vacation :) I know you're waiting for it as well and I bet you're already thinking where to...
I don't know how many cities I visited so far, but I know this: I never saw as  many statues as there are in Skopje. That's the reason why I'm calling Skopje in this article: the city of statues! These figures are all around the city and their number is unknown. There is also a joke, as it seems that...
The statue of Iustinian I, the Emperor
If Skopje in North Macedonia is on your future travels list, good for you. If not, maybe this article will change your mind as here, I'm talking about the main attractions in Skopje. Skopje is definitely, not a big city, but an opulent one. Once you step under the Macedonian Gate, you will feel like entering onto a movie set....
The stone bridge at sunset in Skopje North Macedonia
Many and many people have started to travel all around the world. And there are a lot of places that everyone wants to see: Cote D'Azure, Cinque Terre, New York, Tokyo, Tenerife, etc. So, you hear people talking so often about the same destinations. My questions now are....What happens with the "small" places? Why people won't go to Macedonia? Because you...
